Kolkata Police Law Institute (KPLI) since its inception on 19 August, 2016, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, has been aiming to grow as a Centre of Excellence in its field emphasizing on ‘Advancement of Legal Learning’ under the able chairmanship of the Ld. Commissioner of Police, Kolkata. This self-financed academic institute is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and approved by the Bar Council of India. Its principal objective is to create a cavalry of lawyers and legal experts of the best quality and simultaneously with the virtues of responsible citizens.
